We don’t know about you, but neon-colored eyeshadow, blush and liner are our new favorite products to play with as we transition into Fall, and New York Fashion Week seems to agree. Makeup artist Diane Kendal for Maybelline made a case for the vivid-bright shade at the Jason Wu SS20 runway show with a light wash of bright pink, peach and yellow extending from the lids, to the temples and cheekbones. This neon draping finish was inspired by blooming flowers, and totally had us weak at the knees. Here’s how to replicate the look at home, ahead.
STEP 2: Using the Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette, apply Ice Pop all over the lids past the crease and up to the brow bone. Add Main Squeeze to the center of the lids and complete the eyes with Lash Sensational Mascara. Define the brows with the Brow Ultra Slim Defining Pencil. Pro tip: Kendal also used a brand new, never-before-seen Maybelline product to set the brows — the Brow Fast Sculpt Gel Mascara to help create a bushy, natural finish (available in January 2020!).
STEP 3: Mix Ice Pop with Facestudio Lasting Fix Setting Spray and apply it to the cheeks and temples, connecting it to the eye color for a draped shadow-to-cheek finish. Next, mix the setting spray with Lemonade Craze and apply it on top of the same area for a peachy-yellow wash.
STEP 4: Apply Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Shadow in Chill Girl to the inner corners of the eyes and down the bridge of the nose for an ethereal glow. Finally, complete the look with a touch of the Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer Lip Gloss in Tease.
